1. Get a player from the App Store
- Open the App Store on the device.
- Search for an IPTV player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U playlists.
- Tap or select Get. Some players are free; others charge for extra features, paid to the developer.
2. Add your login
- Open the player and choose to add a playlist or account.
- Choose Xtream Codes for a server, username and password, or M3U for a single link.
- On Apple TV, typing is slow with the remote. Many apps let you add the playlist from your iPhone keyboard, or by scanning a QR code.
3. Watch
Live channels, the guide and on-demand titles appear in separate sections. Use the player’s favourites feature to keep the channels you watch most on top.
Apple tips
- Apple TV 4K outputs up to 4K. It does not output 8K.
- Turn on Match Frame Rate under Settings > Video and Audio > Match Content for smoother sport and films.
- On iPhone or iPad you can use AirPlay to send video to a compatible TV, though a native app on the TV is usually steadier.
