Samsung smart TVs running TizenSamsung smart TVs run Tizen, which has its own app store. This guide shows how to add an IPTV player there and sign in to 8K IPTV Streaming, usually in about ten minutes.
1. Confirm your TV is online and up to date
Open Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now. Then check Settings > General > Network shows a connection. A wired connection is best for 4K and 8K models.
2. Find a player in the Samsung store
- Press Home and open Apps.
- Choose the search icon and type the name of an IPTV player, or simply “IPTV” to see what is offered in your region.
- Open a player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U and select Install.
App choice on Tizen changes by country and TV year. Some Samsung players use an activation code shown on screen, and some charge a yearly fee to their developer. Tell us your TV model and we will point you to one that works.
3. Add your login
- Open the player. If it shows a device ID or MAC address, send it to us on WhatsApp so we can add your playlist on the app’s website for you.
- If it asks for a login type, pick Xtream Codes for a server, username and password, or M3U for a single link.
- Enter the details exactly as sent, then save.
4. Tune the picture
- Choose Picture Mode: Movie or Filmmaker Mode for natural colour.
- Switch off extra motion smoothing if live sport looks unnatural.
- Samsung 8K TVs upscale lower-resolution streams. That improves sharpness but is not the same as a native 8K source.
Samsung questions
I cannot find any IPTV app on my Samsung TV.
Older Tizen models have fewer apps. A Fire TV Stick or Android TV box plugged into HDMI is a simple fix. Ask us and we will suggest the easiest route.
The channel list loads but the guide is empty.
Use the app’s refresh or reload EPG option and wait a few minutes. Our TV guide help has more steps.
